Since 1947 the Browne family has served our island community with their lumber and hardware needs on a one-to-one basis. In the early years, Jim Browne drove truck and Inez Browne helped customers and took care of the books. Everyone is doing their part to "green" up and that includes Browne's Home Center. Come in and check out the new product lines that leave a lighter footprint on the environment offered to you from old and trusted brand names.
If you haven't tried our Ship-To-Store program, you should do so now. We have access to over 65,000 items that if ordered by 1 PM on a Tuesday, will be delivered to our store for your pickup by 1 PM on Friday (depending on availability.) There are many savings, not to mention no sales tax...you are purchasing your merchandise from Indiana.
