About Do It Best

Founded in 1945, Do it Best Corp., (formerly Hardware Wholesales Inc., or HWI) is the only full-service, full-line, member-owned hardware and building materials buying cooperative in the industry. Serving more than 4,300 member-retailers throughout the world, Do it Best Corp. is comprised of independent hardware, home center and lumberyard retailers with both single and multiple store locations.

Through our partnership with the Do It Best Corp., we are able to buy direct from approximately 5,000 vendors, taking advantage of strong group buying power. This allows us to pass on these savings to our customers.
